An International Medical organization seeking a qualified and highly motivated applicant for [HR/FINANCE ASSISTANT]; the position will be based in [LAHORE].
Job Description:
The HR/Finance Assistant is responsible for providing support in the accounting, administration and HR management functions in the base; he/she supports Base Manager/Project Manager in ensuring that the COE and the internal rules and regulations, as well as the accounting guidelines, are being implemented and respected; and finally, he/she reports to the Base manager/Project Manager but has also a functional reporting line with the HR and Admin/Fin departments in coordination Office at Islamabad;
Key Responsibilities;
- Assist Bas Manager/Project Manager in implementing good HR practices related to standard HR processes
- Fulfil the assigned role in the recruitment and selection process, from receiving the recruitment request, circulate the vacancy announcement, advertisement of the vacancy, long listing, follow up on shortlisting, interviews and test management, preparing regret emails and job offers, drafting an employment contract, and organizing the induction;
- Assist base staff in medical claims processing by providing technical advice and guidance in accordance with the Health policy. Maintains the medical reimbursement record of base staff;
- Support the HR manager in the yearly performance review and in the Learning and development yearly exercise;
- Perform compliance check on submitted payments in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Update accounting books in software on a daily basis in line with Mission procedures.
- Maintain a complete record of advances and their settlement as per laid down procedure.
- Prepare monthly cash request and submit to the coordination office to ensure the availability of cash in the office.
- Implement cash disbursement and safety protocols as prescribed by the coordination office.
Academic Qualifications: Bachelors in Business Administration/HR management. HR, accounting or finance;
Experience: Minimum 02 years’ experience in HR management and/or accounting/finance, preferably 01-year experience Admin/Fin or HR management in a recognized INGO or international organization.

Conceptual Competencies: In-depth Analysis and Problem Solving: Ability to undertake an immediate correction regarding a non-conformity, an incident or a problem, and to clarify the details involved such as stakeholders and resources;
Transversal Competencies: Flexibility and Adaptability: Understand and Accept environmental changes related to people, tasks, work, decisions, policies, etc.; Complexity and Stress Management: Ability to evaluate his/her stress level, and to list the causes of the stress. In addition to the ability to evaluate the complexity, and severity of a situation.
Technical Competencies: HR Management Competencies: Ability to implement and control the staffing function, that starts with the HR planning, job analysis, recruitment selection, and induction – in addition to verbal and written reporting proficiency.
Linguistic Skills: Good communication skills in English & Urdu Language.
