Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Preparation of all Payments, Receipt and Adjustment vouchers.
- Ensure all payments are properly supported and are in accordance with the delegated schedule of powers and relevant agreements/ contracts.
- Liaison with field offices for finance-related data/ documents.
- Help GM Finance to ensure timely reporting in accordance with the donor agreements.
- Communication and interactions with banks and financial institutions.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that tax is deducted from payments and submitted to the authorities as per Income Tax Laws.
- Preparing Withholding tax statements.
- Coordinate with External Auditors.
- Ensure periodic inventory compilation.
- Making logistics and travel arrangements of Head Office and field staff.
- Provides administrative support where required.
- Any other task assigned by GM Finance.
Experience and Qualification
- Professional communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
- Work experience of Quick books (preferred).
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented and a team player.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
