This position is based in NorCross Asia Regional Office in Islamabad

Purpose of internship

Internship/assignment purpose is to focus on HR related issues within the NorCross Regional & Country Office as directed by the Regional Finance Manager. Assistance given to HR unit includes, but not limited to, following areas: routine HR work, coordination with the programme team and support services, maintaining staff records.

Internship/Assignment related duties and responsibilities

  • In coordination with the RFM, develop and maintain a filing system of HR related documents. (Timesheets, leave request forms etc.)
  • Support in preparing and maintaining of staff leave record.
  • Coordination with insurance company for health & Life insurance related issues.
  • Maintain annual leave and R&R record of all delegates in Regional Office.
  • Follow up and collect documents from staff for maintaining personnel files.
  •  Any other task assigned by technical manager.

Required skills

To fulfil duties and responsibilities following basic skills required for engaging with the NorCross PAK Country & Regional Office on HR support (Intern): Qualification: Bachelors graduate (relevant subject area), strong verbal and written English language skills; high level of computer literacy; ability to work in multi-cultural environment; commitment to deliverables; energetic; organised; teamwork.

Remuneration     

The intern will be paid a per day stipend of 1000/- for the duration of the internship.
