RFP: Independent Outcome Evaluation of Consolidating Democracy in Pakistan (CDIP) Programme
Programme Overview and Context
The Consolidating Democracy in Pakistan (CDIP) programme is implemented by DAI-Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. and funded by the UK government. CDIP aims to support democratic processes in Pakistan by strengthening the capacity of the country’s institutions to be more effective, accountable and responsive to the needs of citizens.
DAI-Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd is in the process of hiring a firm to conduct an independent performance evaluation which will validate CDIP results in delivering credible elections and in supporting democratic institutions and political participation in Pakistan. It will identify factors that did or did not help in achieving programme objectives. The evaluation will produce a range of deliverables helping the British High Commission (BHC) team validate programme results and the theory of change. The evaluation will provide detailed recommendations to inform future decision making by helping BHC set a direction for post-election programming and future programme design.
