Overview

The Information and Reporting Officer will manage project information and communication needs for the Sindh regional office. This position will report to the Communications Manager based in Islamabad.

Scope of Work

  • To collect (through field work), synthesize and draft reports and success stories from on-going grants and field activities. Responsibility to regularly maintain portfolio of and draft Weekly, Bi-weekly, Quarterly, other reports for the entire Karachi and Northern Sindh region and highlight program success and learnings
  • Responsible for managing and developing knowledge products for the regional program and keeping a repository of all key data on program updates, meetings, successes, learnings, etc.
  • Take the lead in organizing program information, identifying program successes by doing field work, and working with partners to improve their reporting and ways to improve programing to achieve objective.
  • Use information in Activity Database and MEAL reports to compile quick results reporting on program status and impact, including press releases and success stories.
  • Maintain quality control over project documentation and deliverables and providing support to Program and Communications Manager, as well as M&E department on collecting data, copyediting, and reporting on activity progress.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree in relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge and field work experience in Karachi and Sindh preferred
  • Experience in the field of CVE, youth development, interfaith harmony, peacebuilding, or community development preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing for development organizations is required.
  • Relevant experience working on USAID contract in a related role highly preferred. Experience with grants or small grants under contract programs required.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office suite) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • English language fluency required. Sindhi language also preferred.
