Reservoir Engineer

Qualification:

• BSc / BE (Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering) from PEC Recognized Institution

Experience:

• Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization

Skills:

• Up to date with the state of the art of reservoir engineering technologies and procedures.
• Experience using industry software (Eclipse Office, Petrel RE, OFM, Mbal, Prosper / Pipesim, GAP, Ecrin).
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills, which include verbal, written and nonverbal communication. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge and understanding of reservoir simulation technique.
• Monitors pressure behavior in assigned reservoirs and aquifers by examining and calculating survey data from observation wells to establish/confirm trends
• Carries out data management duties to ensure consistency of acquired data. Includes verifying collected data, analyzing and interpreting data using available techniques and identifying areas requiring further study
• Preparing conceptual development plan and production forecasts for well proposals
• Estimating reserves and forecasting for property evaluations and development planning
• Participates in well site operations to ensure adherence to reservoir engineering test procedures and requirements. Includes performing on rig site duty during well operations or production testing
• Pressure transient analysis and interpretation
• Prepare on time, required engineering details for study reports
• Updating & Maintaining Production Database of all Own/Operated & Non-Operated producing Fields
• Liaison and Reporting to government authorities, ministries and Joint Venture Partner for business operations
• Keeps abreast of technological development in the field of reservoir engineering
• Knows the Company health, safety and environmental policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to his area of responsibility
