Specific Responsibilities: 

Planning, Implementation and Reporting:

  • Responsible for planning, implementation and reporting of Equity, Inclusion & Participation project(s).
  • Responsible for expansion and growth of project.
  • Undertake monitoring visits, share findings via reports and strengthen Monitoring and evaluation system.
  • Ensure Quality and Accountability mainstreaming.
  • Responsible for financial management of the project.

Strengthening Systems and Procedures:

  • Ensure that the necessary systems/policies are in place to run the project.
  • Ensure planning, monitoring and evaluation mechanism is in place and working effectively.
  • Review monitoring/review/evaluation reports and take necessary action as and when required.
  • Take initiative of doing lesson learning exercises from time to time.
  • Assist Associate Regional Director to develop and implement strong follow up mechanism for project initiatives.

Expansion, networking and visibility:

  • Strengthening networking and linkages with respect to programs.
  • Represent Organization nationally and internationally for Equity, Inclusion & Participation related activities including meetings, workshops and conferences.
  • Proposal development.
  • Finalize narrative and financial reports of the project.
  • Visibility of the project(s).
  • Publications for Equity, Inclusion & Participation project(s).
  • Promote the desired organizational culture.

Team Management:

  • Responsible to build capacity of team in technical areas related to Equity, Inclusion & Participation.
  • Recruitment and orientation of staff as and when required.
  • Management and development of staff.
  • Maintain positive relationship with team.
  • Ensure organization’s expectation from program team members are clear to them.
  • Provide timely feedback to team members as and when required.

Job Specifications:

Qualification/Experience:

  • For the post of Program Coordinator – EIP, a Master degree from a recognized university and 6 years of experience in “Social and Legal equality” or “Peace, Democracy and democratization” related fields are considered necessary. Some experience of working and coordinating with other international NGOs and funding agencies is also essential for this position. 

Skill/Competencies:

  • Committed and motivated to the promotion of Q&A using creative approaches, apart from training.
  • Familiar with the use of Sphere and CHS, particularly in the field.
  • Be able to work independently, ability to take initiatives, decision making.
  • Be able to work independently, ability to take initiatives, decision making.
  • Ability to represent the organization at various levels in-country and at regional-international levels.
  • Committed and motivated to the promotion of Q&A using creative approaches, apart from training.
  • Ability to travel in-country, sub-region and the region as and when required.
  • Ability to work independently, take new initiatives is must.
  • Good Decision making, facilitation skills, and management skills.
  • Excellent command of English & Urdu – verbal and written
  • Good IT Skills: Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and able to well present information
