Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development of effective and efficient organizational structure in line with Organization strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with Directors / Managers on human resource planning.
  • Provide advice, support and information to management and employees on personnel policies and procedures as well as staff rules and guideline and ensure compliance with local labor law.
  • Coordinate with heads of Program / or offices to ensure cooperation in the efficient implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Involves in recruitment and selection of staff in compliance with Organization’s policy including support to the supervisor for the assessment of new hires and the writing / updating of job description.
  • Ensure understanding of roles, responsibilities, staff relationships and accountabilities i.e. formulates, submits for approval, and issues office memo, staff circulars and announcement on office practices, staff rules and relations for the proper guidance of employees in discharging their duties.
  • Compiles, maintains and updates staff personnel records and statistics in coordination with HR focal persons.
  • Prepares monthly and /or quarterly HR related reports / analysis.
  • Supervises  HR staff and provides technical support to HR focal persons.
  • Develops and Manages HR Budget.
  • Participate in senior management Team Meetings.

Job Specifications:

Qualification/Experience:

  • For the post of Head of HR, a master’s degree in Human Resource Management or any relevant discipline from recognized university and at least 6 years experience in relevant field is considered necessary.

Skill/Competencies:

  • Good management skills, a lot of patience, sound decision making.
  • Ability to work independently, ability to take initiatives.
  • Good writing skills, coaching skills.
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices.
  • Training and facilitation skills in English and Urdu;
  • Ability to represent the organization at various levels in-country.
  • Ability to travel in-country and sub-region as and when required.
  • Excellent command of English & Urdu – verbal and written.
  • Good IT Skills: Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and able to well present information
