Job Title

Delivery Support- Delivery Lead

The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) has contracted Mott MacDonald Cambridge Education working in partnership with Delivery Associates (DA), to provide technical assistance for the final nineteen months of the Punjab Education Support Programme, which is led by the School Education Department (SED).

We require the services of Delivery Support – Delivery Lead for Fixed term 09 months contract, based in Lahore.

Core Responsibilities:

1.       Delivery Planning

  • Work and lead on multiple workstreams implementing SED’s delivery agenda
  • Provide challenge and support on strategy and plans to achieve SED goals
  • Work with department to evaluate and develop tracking and monitoring mechanisms of SED goals
  • Provide challenge and support on the right goals and metrics to track progress
  • Lead on setting up routines to track progress
  • Assist in developing presentations and analysis as required
  • Manage leadership level relationships with department and institution officials

2.       Support to District Administrations

  • Institutionalize department district routines
  • Liaise with district and department officials to ensure timely, consistent communication and instructions are provided
  • Work with DFCs and work through DEAs in districts to conduct root-cause analysis on under-performing Tehsils
  • Support low performing districts to improve outcomes
  • Follow up with the districts to verify if agreed upon corrective actions have been carried out

3.       Performance Management

The post holder will be line managed by the Team Leader, performance will be monitored against the timely submission of the required deliverables.

Qualification & Experience:

Masters degree in social sciences or a related degree. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in relevant education sector preferred. Substantial knowledge and experience of working with the government systems and procedures is required. Experience of coordinating with the development partners and national and international NGOs is preferred.
