BACKGROUND / INTRODUCTION
Established on May, 28th 1998 and registered under Society Act 1860, by a group of youth sharing a common aim and commitment to address human misery with a special focus on vulnerable segment of society i.e. women, children, minorities, refugees, disable/abused and the poorest of the poor. Being a right based social reformatory organization, adopts a holistic approach towards right based development initiatives upholding the human rights. Organization uses rigorous approach by analyzing the various aspects that contribute to oppression, injustice, violence, vulnerability, discrimination, abuse and poverty in the society while treating the survivor (s) as “subjects of the change process”.
These trainings are the major component of PPR Program with special focus of Poverty alleviation, being implemented in Bostan union council of District Pishin. The purpose of the assignment is to target at preparing individuals for productivity and development of the community by: Providing trained manpower in the technology, advanced craft, and technical levels.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES OF CONSULTANCY AGREEMENT
They aim to offer the opportunity to those who do not intend to pursue higher education to develop their skills, in order to become competitive for the labor market and to empower Community through income generating skills and entrepreneurship. To facilitate the development of skills that increase vocational and training Opportunities. The values, attitudes and skills, necessary to change behavior in regard to natural resource management. To identify the need TNA were conducted against which Tailoring was finalized.
The main objective of this tailoring training program is to enhance the quality of life of women, Men and teenage girls through enhancement of their skills and knowledge. Includes choosing materials, tailoring, quilting, draping and stitching both by hand and machine.

CONSULTANT TERM OF REFRENCES

A - Terms of Reference
- Develop safe working habits and use basic garment tools and equipment safely and correctly
|
- Perform basic design, cutting and joining of fabrics
|
- Perform the necessary adjustment on sewing components
|
- Identify and replace defective parts of Sewing machine
|
- Demonstrate desirable customer relations
|
- Deliver Training & prepare report on the completion of training highlighting the training delivery process, results achieved, participants’ satisfaction with the trainer and training methodology, main conclusions and recommendations.

- Deliver hands-on Training on the training topic as per contents provided by Organization.
|
- Prepare & submit day-wise training plan for 28 days.
|
- Develop participant’s linkages with targeted Market.
|
B – Approach of the Training
- Participatory approach is required for this training as many of them are illiterate.
- Pre and post evaluation of the participants will be conducted.
- Medium of instruction should be in Pashto language.

E – Profile of the Training Consultant
- Literate Person with 5 year experience in related field
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills
- Excellent hand-sewing and machining skills
- Applicants must be independent and free from any conflict of interest.
- Creativity and the ability to visualise designs
- Pattern making and cutting skills

F – Payment Schedule
- Payments will be made in 2 different intervals
- 50% at the time of signing Contract.
- 50% upon submission of all aforesaid reports/documents in Soft & hard.
- All Government Tax is applicable.
