Overview

This position is located within the Prevention Department at the Islamabad Delegation. The Prevention Department works closely on the promotion of International Humanitarian Law. The Behavioral Change Manager will be supporting projects and programs falling under Prevention, with a particular focus on designing commonalities for behavioral change programs.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate would have experience of working on projects and research programs, including in governance, policy, academics, behavior change management and social sciences. Experience coordinating, planning and communicating with stakeholder groups such as senior managers and experts from different fields of work is desirable. In addition to strong presentation and training abilities, the incumbent should have excellent research and report writing skills.

The role entails extensive travel in-country and abroad.

Main responsibilities

Assists with projects and programs that have complex interdependencies with analytical support and specialist planning for designing initiatives aimed at behavioral change in multiple number of new, innovative and complex projects.

Strengthens projects identified under Prevention as Centers of Excellence and drives innovation.

Designs programs in helping to establish curriculum, modules and processes on modern research methodology including documentation of case studies, best practices and policy initiatives undertaken with academic, research and technical bodies that serve as partners.     

Education

Master’s Degree from a reputable University with a focus on policy, social or behavioral sciences.
