Supply Chain Manager, Sindh

Position Objective

Coordinating all relevant public and private sector stakeholders and project staff for deployment and implementation of district specific supply chain functions as per the project workplan.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist the provincial Health and Population Welfare Departments for sustainable strengthening of supply chain functions including health commodities forecasting, procurement, storage, distribution, monitoring and evaluation and workforce development
2. Support and assist the project district staff for technical field operations and implementation of workplan activities
3. Assist and facilitate joint field monitoring activities for improving health logistics data reporting, data visibility and data quality
4. Assist the district authorities for regular monitoring of health logistics MIS data reporting and use of data to ensure health commodities data visibility and data quality for strategic decision
5. Validation of quality and integrity of data accumulated on the in-house MIS for contraceptives and MNCH products in the district including capacity building of district staff on data use and evaluation
6. Follow-up action on projects implementation activities and assist in preparing project weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports
7. Qualitative & Quantitative analysis of stock sufficiency & storage conditions of vaccines, contraceptives and MNCH products at all levels of the supply chain.
8. Coordinate and facilitate high level public sector meetings, workshops, and workforce development initiatives as per requirements of the project workplan
9. Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Job Specifications

Education: Master’s Degree in public health, social sciences, supply chain management or relevant field.

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in development and public sector in the fields of public health and supply chain systems strengthening.
