Job Description: 

In charge of the seismic crew and supervision of all crew staff and subcontractors. Specifically this involves:

1. Direct Department Chief to maintain an accurate inventory of equipment and assets within their control and maintain a scheduled review / audit process; ensure loss and damage is reported in a timely manner.
2. To manage the project staff scheduling, ensuring the project is adequately & efficiently staffed at all times this includes planning and updating the crew rotation with Camp Boss on a weekly basis.
3. To liaise with client to ensure prompt signing of crew timesheets and invoice back-up. To maintain close liaison with District Management and local Governments.
4. To provide input as required to the General Manager to ensure all financial reports are submitted to Company as required. To conduct Weekly cash forecasting; ensure proper allocation for the funds once received.
5. To ensure Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) standards, policies and procedures are communicated to project staff and adhered to at all times.
6. To provide leadership, guidance and support to all Project Seismic staff ensuring optimal performance management.
7. To conduct nightly project / operations meetings with crew staff, followed by senior staff job plan meeting.
8. To evaluate and recommend to management improvements to current project systems in use within the operations
9. To ensure department heads provide on the job coaching to local nationals and Project staff to ensure transfer of technical skills and knowledge.
10. Ensure proper measures are in place to adhere to internal control requirements such as approval of purchases and responsibility for assets their records, control and approval of timesheets and Financial Procedures.
11. Ensure all meetings and audits are being completed as per KPOGCL requirements.
12. Legal and ethically secure practices fully compliant with KPOGCL policies followed by all reports both direct and indirect.

Reporting

Reports to the Exploration Manager in the absence of the Exploration Manager report to GM or CEO all crew staff report to the PC through line processes (via Section Heads).
