Relevant Experience:

 

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :

 

  • To hold individual and group counseling sessions on Reproductive health and
  • FP and PAC
  • To provide FP and PAC services in a health facility level
  • To conduct FP and PAC procedures as per standard protocols
  • To provide supportive supervision to counselors during counseling sessions
  • To maintain  project data in specified recording and reporting tools
  • To prepare and submit monthly reports as per deadlines with Women Medical Officer
  • Maintain and display project data in presentable forms at a health facility level
  • Maintain client cards, referral slips and other records as per instructions
  • To work in  close coordination with government staff
  • To support WMO in monthly meetings with government staff
  • To highlight program gaps on time (clients, technical, supplies and community)
  • To maintain accurate records for supplies and medicines (in absence of dispenser)
  • To raise demands when stocks reaches minimum stock level
  • To support CM team on technical grounds and liaise with them for mutual support in referral mechanism on regular basis
  • Maintain event calendar in coordination with outreach workers and WMO
  • To manage health facility, logistics & staff in absence of WMO
  • To maintain  Infection prevention system in support of midwife
  • Be available for supportive supervision of all procedures as per targets
  • Support internal and external integration plans
  • Facilitate in facility based events
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • LHV Diploma certificate registered with relevant nursing institute 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS 

Essential

  • 2-3 years total experience with 01 year relevant experience in RH and FP and PAC services is a must. 

Desireable 

  • Trained on FP and PAC procedures and infection prevention system will be preferred
  • Data management skills would be required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluent in local language
  • Locals will be preferred
  • Willingness to move in intervention areas 

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:

Level 3:  the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.

ROLE PURPOSE: The main aim is to provider FP and PAC services including counseling and provision of FP methods and maintains all records at a health facility level.
