JOB PURPOSE:

To develop, maintain & upgrade Management Information System (MIS) for an Internatioanl Organization Pakistan, and take the lead in providing  IT support to the organization.

He/ She must be resourceful and must have technical expertise of software development and resolving problems diagnosed/reported. He/ She should have professional approach and behavior to communicate with diversified teams and users.

Essentials Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and launch a new Management Information system (MIS), take lead in its maintinace and upgradation. Deliver trainings to staff memebrs on the upgradation of MIS.  for the programs and ensure its proper utilization in the field and country office.
  • Share observations and statistical reports on monthly basis with all team members and senior management.
  • Authorize the project team members for data entries and verifications.
  • Develop MIS module manual and share it with all staff.
  • Follow-up from the project teams with the help ofMELteam to ensure timely entries and verification of the data.
  • Assist staff to achieve efficient and effective use of computing technology and maximize utilization of computer resources
  • Diagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting on complicated IT issues
  • Provide support for software applicationsMaintain the network infrastructure at country office and all project offices including all servers, firewalls, switches, and other equipment
  • Upgrade network components as newer technology is introduced and is available
  • Manage and maintain the backup data of all server and systems.  
  • Manage all IT related licensing contracts with software and Hardware vendor

Network and Data Security 

  • Establish and maintain protocol for ensuring network security. 
  • Determine and administer user access, privileges and security.

Hardware/software administration, implementation and development

  • Request for purchase order and set up new hardware (if and when required).  
  • Provide advice and facilitate on updating versions and patches of server software.

Required Qualification and Experience

  • 3-5 years experience as a MIS development and IT administration.
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
  • BCS, BS(CS), MCS, MS-IT, MIT
  • Sound knowledge of database administration, Security Policies & clarity of users role
  • Good communication skills to train and communicate with the team. Good written and spoken English is essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
