Project Officer - Pakistan

In order to help us achieve our vision, we are looking for a Project Officer to join our Pakistan team. Reporting to the Program Manager, Trachoma you will be accountable for working with implementing partners in Pakistan in the areas of project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation to ensure the effective implementation and coordination of project activities in line with agreed project guidelines and objectives. You will utilise your highly developed project design, project management and budgeting skills and proven stakeholder relationship abilities to ensure successful project outcomes. Domestic travel will be required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong experience in project design, project management, budget development and monitoring.
- Successful implementation of health projects (ideally in eye health)
- Proven ability to influence and work with partners/stakeholders.
- Tertiary education in development studies / public health /business administration
- Excellent ability to meet deadlines and juggle several projects at the same time.
- Advanced communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English, excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft suite, Internet etc)
- Aptitude to work independently and in a team environment.
