Key Responsibilities 

Under the supervision of the Snr Manager Operations & Emergencies, the position holder will be responsible for ensuring the inclusion of vulnerable groups in all activities, sharing and documenting the good practices during the project and also analysis the inclusion and provide guidance and suggestion.

Support to Partner and Agencies staff in inclusion. Development of various tools for monitoring; reporting and documentation of learning’s during and at completion of the project.

Job Description

  1. Supervision and management of project team of project in three districts and any other additional location based on the project requirements.
  2. Provide support and assistance to plan, design, implement and monitor project activities/interventions according to the goal and objectives of program/project.
  3. Responsible for coordination with team leader; project team and component managers for technical support and ensure implementation of project.
  4. Successfully implementation of inclusion project in the target areas of Bannu, Peshawar, DI Khan and Kohat Districts.
  5. Prepare, monitor and report on the implementation of Organization component of the project in KPK Pakistan, in partnership with IRC, ACTED and other local partners of these agencies.
  6. Development of various tools for monitoring and reporting and documentation of learning’s during and at completion of the projects.
  7. Provide technical input to partners for inclusion and mainstreaming of OPs and PWDs in Protection, WASH and Livelihood program.
  8. Provide training to Partner staff on inclusion and ensure inclusion through activities on ground.
  9. Represent Organization and the work of partners in Pakistan at meetings with donors, national and local government, UN Cluster meetings and other external bodies in province and districts. 
  10. Manage Inclusion accountability officer and Physiotherapist work in three districts,
  11. Support the Organization staff in districts and monitor their activities and guidance to them for ensuring inclusion with partners.
  12. Monitor and analysis the activities of partner for inclusion and support and guide the staff for inclusion based on the information.
  13. Ensure that the program achievements are updated and included in communication reports
  14. Undertake any other duties as and when necessary to fulfil the objectives of Organization in Pakistan.

Personal Specification 

  • Master’s degree in development studies, social work or related field with Minimum 5 years’ experience working for an NGO/ INGO.
  • Knowledge of Humanitarian standards and inclusion standards of Protection, Health, Livelihood and WASH.
  • Knowledge and experience of disabilities and older people specific activities.
  • Good organisational and planning skills to manage job workload and work to deadlines.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to think logically and strong writing skills.
  • Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • High computer literacy; proficient in Excel and Word and preferably advanced computer skills in database.
  • Strong project management skills and experience of consortium work.
