Job Description:
- Identify and visit communities and select appropriate households according to the methodology for the assignment;
- Participate in relevant trainings and workshop for the purpose of survey/assessment
- Conducting interviews using the tools provided;
- Handle and fill in questionnaires either on paper or excel as indicated.
- Ensure correctness and completeness of filled questionnaires
- Upload responses onto the online link provided
- Maintain list of respondents, current and potential, on a daily basis on format provided
- Submit completed tasks to the team supervisor and discuss developments on daily basis.
- Liaise with the authorities on ground as required.
- Represent IOM in meetings at the local level if required.
- Ensure compliance of the provided guidelines for day to day work routine.
- Recognize and give an account of problems and challenges encountered in order to support evaluation of the data collection mechanism;
- Promptly address issues arising during working time in consultation with respective managers or their delegates.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics, Social Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
- Demonstrable experience with surveys and data collection in the field
Languages:
- Excellent command of oral and written English and Urdu is required.
- Excellent command of oral Pashto is required for field work in KP
- Knowledge of Dari is a plus
