Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive office vehicles for the transport of authorised personnel.
  • Observe the road and traffic laws and regulations of the Government of Pakistan.
  • Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards
  • Ensure vehicle is kept clean, tidy, secure  and in good working condition at all times
  • Take care of the day to day maintenance of assigned vehicles, check oil, water, battery and brakes.
    • Perform minor repairs and arrange for other repairs, prepare vehicle spare parts inventory.  
    • Prepare and submit records of vehicle operations, maintenance, expenses, mileage, at end of each month along with timesheet.
    • Maintain mileage logs and complete pre-trip inspection.
    • Able to manage best routes to destinations by using maps and GPS, if required
    • Ensures that, in the event of an accident involving the office vehicle, the necessary steps required by rules and regulations are followed.
    • Perform other related duties as required

Duration:

The initial appointment period will be for six months with 3 months probation. The appointment may be extended for a period of two years subject to performance assessments and funding.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Education: Matriculation or above
  • Communication Skill: Able to communicate in English, and proficient to use social network (WhatsApp) and mobile(Google map, and GPS)
  • Driving skills: Valid LTV / Motor Car License, Additional safety training (Defensive Driving Basics, Surveillance and anti-surveillance, First Aid &  Emergency Drills and advance driving concepts)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with multinational organisations and able to work in multi-cultural environment.
  • References will be required and driving test will be taken.
