Job Advertisement Peshawar Field Office Project Team

Civil Society Human & Institutional Development Programme (CHIP) is a value led organization that has made its mark in the development sector all over the Pakistan. We are looking for enthusiastic/energetic candidates for the following position.

Finance and Admin Officer

  • ACMA, ACCA, CA Part qualified/Articles completed, MBA Finance, M. Com
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in budgeting, financial reporting, event management, procurement, reconciliation of advances
  • Work Experience in an NGO/INGO
  • Clear understanding of budgeting, donor reporting, meeting deadlines,
  • Cash Management
  • Conversant with procurement procedures and rules, dealing / negotiation with vendor, vehicle management, office premises maintenance, security etc
  • Previous experience of event management
  • Good computer and (verbal and written) languages skills (fluent in Urdu and English; Pashtu would be an advantage)
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and work as a team
  • Being from the project area/having lived and worked in the project area is an added advantage
  • Commitment to CHIP’s mission and values
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of people

Type of Contract

Fixed for 29 months, renewable on Annual basis with possibility to extend

Job Location

Peshawar, with frequent travel to Nowshera and Islamabad

Interview and assessment date

The procedure will follow several steps, written test and interviews.

Inclusive Education Officer

  • Degree in Inclusive Education, Education, Early Childhood Development or any relevant subject
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in teaching young children, 3 years in teaching CWDs, 3 years in developing education strategies, training methods and materials
  • Work Experience in an NGO/INGO
  • Experience and knowledge in early childhood development and child rights
  • Experience in developing individual education plans and working with different education stakeholders
  • Previous experience working in a similar position will be an advantage
  • Good computer and (verbal and written) languages skills (fluent in Urdu and English; Pashtu would be an advantage)
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and work as a team
  • Being from the project area/having lived and worked in the project area is an added advantage
