Job Description:
In charge of the Mechanical section and supervision of all section staff
Specifically this involves:
1. Be technically proficient in the operation and repair of all equipment especially Vehicles, caravans and drilling equipment.
2. Managing others to achieve the sections results (production / QHSE balance).
2. Ensure appropriate techniques used to meet the highest client / company specifications.
3. Ensure that line clearance and logistics planning take appropriate account of camp vehicle requirements for safe and efficient operations.
4. The Chief Mechanic reports all Unsafe Acts/Conditions and Near Misses and ensures the implementation of the programmed safety pep talks, safety meetings and safety audits for his department and takes part in accident investigation according to the system in place.
5. Manage mechanic shop and maintain records of spare parts.
6. Reports to the Party Chief
Qualification: B.Sc Mechanical Engg.
Experience: 10 Years
Only those candidates shall be shortlisted who have relevant experience in 2D/3D Seismic Acquisition.
