REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ÿ Master degree in economics, social sciences or a related field.
  • Ÿ 2 years work experience in a similar field, internships included. Experience in coordinating training will be given preference.
  • Ÿ Very good command of written and spoken English and Urdu.
  • Ÿ Good computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Ÿ Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, trouble-shoot, and to meet short and long term deadlines.
  • Ÿ Capacity to work independently
  • Ÿ Experience in program administration, operating procedures, oversight and monitoring will be preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Secretarial and organizational assistance to the Health Care in Danger (HCiD) project.
  • Manages and complies all departmental records including internal and external correspondence, reports, service contracts, memorandum of understanding.
  • Produces documentation of project activities and events for internal and external consumption.
  • Maintains and follows up on contacts with various interlocutors as per instruction from the superior.
  • Organizes meetings with government institutions, medical fraternity, charitable organizations and others.
  • Assits the head of project in follow up of issues with other ICRC departments.
  • Drafts minutes of meetings and other relevant internal reports.
  • Edit and formats text documents and presentations.
  • Responds to internal queries on and complies information for operational updates and newsletters.
  • Monitors media and maintain a database of relevant information.
  • Carries out administrative follow up of the research project with Khyber Medical Unit (KMU) and Leady Reading Hospital (LRH).
