Call for Expressions of Interest for Research Consultant/s
The Fred Hollows Foundation is seeking expressions of interest from individuals, consulting companies, or research institutes interested in undertaking the work described in these terms of reference.
The Fred Hollows Foundation in Pakistan is implementing a three-year project to ensure a continuum of care for diabetic patients who may have diabetic retinopathy (DR). The primary aim of the research described in these terms of reference is to investigate the effectiveness of selected components of the IMOC for people with diabetes in increasing availability, uptake, and quality of services in the Lahore and Matiari districts of Pakistan.
The secondary aims are: to compare effectiveness of the IMOC as implemented in the public and private sector; to investigate barriers and facilitators of the implementation of the model; to investigate financial factors associated with service uptake with a view to design an adequate health financing model.
The evidence generated will be used to inform wider implementation of services as appropriate in Pakistan in the future.
