The position holder would be act as a team leader and would be responsible for managing the project on ‘Assistance for Community Development Accompanying Measures in the Framework of WARSAK Rehabilitation Project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province’. Some of the major responsibilities are as follow:
- Design and implement start up activities of the project
- Design and facilitate project launching ceremony successfully
- Prepare inception report
- Prepare quality progress reports as per requirements of the donor
- Ensure all relevant stakeholders are engaged and consulted for implementing successful community development process
- Design and facilitate public consultations for improving the project implementation
- Design and conduct participatory needs assessment at the community level
- Design community development programme according to the findings of needs assessment
- Develop methodology for the selection of community development projects
- Facilitate selection priority community development projects through participatory consultations and consensus building
- Guide and supervise the Implementation of community development programme
- Ensure quality of the overall process as per agreed terms of reference and approved project proposal
REQUIREMENT:
Qualification: Masters in Social Sciences
Skills:
• Participatory community participation planning related to dam projects
• Coordination and networking and stakeholder engagement
• Facilitation of small and large meetings
• English report writing as per donors requirements
Experience 10-15 years experience of
• Working as a team leader or deputy team leader on participation planning related to dam projects
• Research, monitoring and evaluation
• Reporting as per requirements of donors
Good computer and (verbal and written) languages skills (fluent in Pashto and English)
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Able to work independently
• Ability to manage team and promote harmony

Type of Contract: Fixed term two year contract
Job Location : Islamabad, with frequent travel to field areas
Salary : PKR 100,000/- per month
