A FMCG Company is looking to fill one position of Area Sales Manager with at least 10 years of proven practical experience in Sales department of some renowned FMCG companies.

Education Requirement : Bachelors / MBA Marketing                              

Age must be less than 45 years.

Duties:

  • Book major primary sales orders by referring to price lists and product specifications, answering to the queries of distributors/ sales out lets
  • Establishes new distributors/ sales out lets by planning and organizing daily work
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain records on area and customer wise sales
  • Monitors competition by gathering current market place information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Be aware of and  Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Enhance Distributor-TO-Product Relationships in a positive manner.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as booking and execution reports upon daily visits, weekly work plans, and monthly analyses
  • Prepare Route Plan in Advance  and Share with line Manager about desirable results about such visits
  • Provide Monthly Distributor Closing Stock Reports, signed /stamped on distributor letter head.
  • Obtain/Provide secondary sales reports to sales coordinator as and when desired.
  • Provide ales Forecasts monthly or quarterly based, as per company’s laid-out templates.
