General Scope of Work:
The Consultant is responsible for development of a Training Manual for the women elected to local bodies in District Chitral under the NRSP-LEAD-Pakistan implemented Project titled “Building Leadership and Political Capacity of Women Elected to Local Bodies”. As a first step, the selected Individual Consultant (preferably Female) or Male will be required to go through the Training Need Assessment Report prepared by the project team. Based on this TNA Report, he will design and prepare a comprehensive Training Manual with the overall aims of building capacity of the elected women councilors.
Professional Requirements:
- At least 5 Years of relevant experience in development of training manuals.
- Demonstrated ability with experience in working with NGOs/INGOs/Donor Agencies.
- Be able to share a number of sample manuals already prepared for her / his clients in the past.
- Be familiar with local knowledge, culture and customs of the project area
- Has excellent report writing, presentation and manual development skills.
- Has ability to meet targets within tight deadlines.
- Result-oriented team player with ability to work under extreme pressure situation.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills required.
- Sound judgment, flexibility, adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
10. Proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
11. Proficiency of Khawar / Chitrali language will be an additional qualification.
Deliverables:
A comprehensive Training Manual consisting of 50-60 pages.
To be developed on the basis of findings of TNA Report and in line with KP Local Government Act 2013 and Rules of Business 2015
To be focused on leadership and political/legislative capacity building of women elected to local bodies in District Chitral.
Qualification Requirements:
Master's in Social Sciences preferably in Human Resource Development, Gender and women studies, Political Science, Sociology, Public Policy or related disciplines from a recognized university.
