Social Mobilizer (Female)

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with the Organization's emergency team in the Organization's field office and with counterpart staff in implementation of emergency project activities.  This includes supporting program in community mobilization, beneficiary identification and registration, distribution and reporting, training and meeting arrangements and follow up with the participants.

Responsibilities: necessities 

• Conduct social mobilization and arrange meeting with Community and establish community support group of elders.
• Collect SAAD (Sex, age, and disaggregated data) of activities.
• Share the project detail with communities and beneficiaries selection criteria to avoid miss-understanding.
• Profiling, meeting and formation of community groups.
• Collect information about other organization working in the area, their contact details for meeting, sensitization and scope of activities.
• Will be involved in community organization and community surveys like Hazard, Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment-HVCA and Knowledge Attitude and Practice-KAP surveys.
• Identify people with physical, visual, auditory, mental or any other disability and assist in their registration for distribution of disability specific aids.
• Issuing token for emergency Hygiene kit and provide hygiene promotion session to the beneficiaries and their family members.
• Assist co-members in distribution of Hygiene Kits, arrangement of meetings, trainings and sensitization session.
• Conduct community awareness sessions on healthcare, trainings on Community Based Disaster Risk Management-CBDRM and simulation exercises
• Assist in free medical camps and eye care camps.
• Compile and submit daily and weekly reports of activities performed.

Professional Skills:

• Bachelor / Master degree 
• Minimum one year of experience in relevant field
• Strong communication Skills
• Ability to work in team
• Good report writing and computer skills
