Job Description:
MSc- Geology/Botany or Equivalent with 05 Years’ experiences.
Candidate heaving extensive experience in maintaining, operating & calibrating microscopes, electronic microscopes of a technically first class laboratory facility.
Suggests and help to implement improvements to procedures, methods and techniques.
Heaving Organization skills and efficiency focus.
Experienced in carrying out sedimentary rocks, coal and coke petrographic analysis and microscopy in general.
Experienced in building up conventional core, and interpreting and integrating core descriptions and petrography of rocks into depositional and sequence stratigraphic models
Well Known Knowledge of Calibration of thermal history in basin models and charge evaluation.
Knowledge of carrying out equipment maintenance and calibration..
To undertake training of Petrographers and assistants.
Suggest and help to implement improvements to procedures, methods and techniques.
Know and understand Health & Safety procedures.
Help to maintain and update preparation and analysis work instructions for Petrographic analysis.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualification: MSc-Geology/Botany or Equivalent
