Job Description:
M.Sc-Petroleum Engg or Equivalent with 10 Years experience.
To assist, manage and coordinate all routine KPOGCL-lab work internally as well as with the Clients of different projects forecasting and planning.
Travel to the field and business units as needed.
To help in development of new technologies and improved protocols for coring, core handling and core tests/ analysis.
Independently perform and interpret all types of SCAL analysis to determine rock properties including resistivity, capillary pressure, acoustic velocity etc.
Provide technical support and services to the business units on coring, core handling and core analysis including detailed protocol development and training to expand the level of core competency within the business unit and the company as a whole.
Updating/briefing the Clients concern and Quality Check of routine core analysis data.
Managing a team of all relevant staff/ laboratory technicians to support group goals & provide instruction to meet company training needs.
Processing of Data by using (available software’s at KPOGCL) as well as updating the Clients through internal Project Management Software.
Ensure all work is performed according to KPOGCL/ HSEQ/ Environment policies and working practices in a safe and organized manner.
Quality control of work undertaken by the junior SCAL analysts.
Ensure that laboratory equipment is maintained and validated.
Actively participate in maximizing Knowledge Sharing around the company (KPOGCL).
Actively participate in all safety processes to ensure continuous progress towards zero incidents.
Preparation of proper annual development program.
Analyzing the economics and risk assessments of major development programs.
Collect, interpret & review technical data. Generate & review reports & prepare write-up.
Qualification: MSc-Petroleum Engg/or Equivalent
Overall Experience: 10 Years
