Job Description:
M.Sc-Geology, Geophysics/or Equivalent with 10 Years’ experience.
Responsibilities will include developing ideas, creating plans and organizing projects, in specialized areas like exploration, technical services, lab testing and procedures also assist in detail reservoir characterization of basins for corporate objectives.
Consultant to management, and act as a technical expert to assigned professionals as required to satisfactorily perform work assignments.
To assist the Chief Geologist.
The candidate will have the ability to integrate geological, petrophysical, geochemical, production and other appropriate data and information to build play models with play fairways and their relative exploration & development.
Research within their area of specialization to provide new means of solving geological problems.
Prepare written reports and presentations to present the results of studies/ Projects to management.
Attend meetings and conferences related to their specific geological discipline to ensure that the most current methods and techniques are applied to develop solutions to the problems regarding technical lab.
Identify and build the technical capability of the discipline to support business plans and future business requirements
Good knowledge of internationally used Software, Petrel, Decision Space Geoscience and Geographix Suite and Geological software’s.
Ensuring that appropriate technical assurance of work and deliverables across all geological areas is performed.
Any other task as needed by management.
Skill transfer & training sessions.
Qualification: MSc-Geology Geophysics/or Equivalent
