Chief Sedimentalogist

Job Description:

• MSc-Geology or Equivalent with 12 Years experience.
• Required to work on a wide range of aspects of sedimentology from core description and single well studies to larger Key responsibilities in the role will include; data loading & management, core description & sampling, petrographic, digenetic & reservoir quality integration & interpretation, in addition to facies analysis & depositional modelling, including analogue studies.
• Wire line log interpretation, including basic log processing/petro physics, sequence stratigraphy, reservoir layering and mapping will be essential to the role, as well as the integration and interpretation of results, which may also be inclusive of our other Robertson disciplines.
• Interact with clients and experts from the industry and be expected to deliver reports, core review / core workshops, presentations and training to clients, as well as market and promote the clients Services
• Identify and build the technical capability of the discipline (Sedimentations and Sedimentary Basins Analysis with sequence stratigraphic interpretations.)
• Foster cross-fertilization and workflow integration between the Petrographic/ Basin history and subsurface disciplines of Geology, Geophysics, Petro physics, Reservoir Engineering and Production Technology, parameters, Analyzing Techniques with QA/QC
• Suggest and help to implement improvements to procedures, methods and techniques..
• Help to maintain harmonious relations with clients and staff.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and can meet set deadlines.
• Perform other duties as required.
