1. Project Manager JDs/TOR

  • Responsible to overall management of project (Program Implementation, Operation and administration of field office).
  • Responsible for budget, financial management & control of the grant adherence to the organization and donor financial policy.
  • Responsible for stakeholders Liaising & coordination (Donor, Local Education Office, Education Directorate, DCTE, Education Secretariat, Distt: Government) to effectively engage them in project interventions.
  • To actively involve communities in project assessment, planning, execution and monitoring.
  • To conduct extensive community mobilization campaign for sensitizing communities regarding girl’s education.
  • To hold advocacy meetings with political leaders, media personnel’s and line department regarding upgradation of girls primary school to middle level.
  • To ensure establishment of ALP classes in targeted schools through 2nd shift schooling.
  • Responsible for monitoring of project indicators and revises strategies accordingly.
  • Responsible for communication & reporting to Head of Programs on project progress and challenges.
  • Responsible for to reviews all deliverables prepared by teams before passing to donor agency and HOP.
  • Make ensure that project legal documents are completed and signed from concerned quarter.  
  • Responsible for project progress/challenges sharing with donor and head office.
  • Any other task assigned by HOP & ED.
  • Responsible for developing detail implementation plan, execution of work plans and revises as appropriate to meet the goals and objectives of the project.
  • Responsible for capacity building of field team through on job support and training session and career development goals.
  • Responsible for timely addressing & resolving conflict among team members and as well inter & intra community conflict through mediation.
  • Ensure capacity building of project stakeholders (Education Officials, Teachers, PTC and Community members etc.) on project contents. 
  • Responsible for developing weekly, monthly and quarterly operational & travel plan of project staff.

Selection Criteria & Skills Required:

  • Having 3-4 years’ experience of project management & implementation in the field of Education.
  • Master Degree in Education/Social Science from any recognized institutions.
  • Having sound knowledge of financial management, control and compliance.
  • Having working experience of Education Sector for least 4 years as independent team leader.
  • Good writing skills to generate quality monthly, quarterly and project closing reports.
  • Having good analytical and critical skills.
  • Good Team Player to contribute to organizational goals.
  • Having experience of problem solving and conflict resolution among team members.
  • Having knowledge of working methodologies of government departments.
  • Having good experience of liaison and coordination with line departments, and other relevant stakeholders (DEO, Education Directorate, Education Secretariat, DCTE, District Government, SWD, Caucus & Media Group).

2. Admin & Finance Officer 
  • Responsible for the day to day Administration of field Office.
  • Responsible for all project logistic within field and out station if required.
  • Responsible for fleet management, maintaining log book, and refuelling record.
  • Responsible for developing budget tracker for all expenses incurred or in process.
  • Responsible for office stationery, other supplies and utilities.
  • Ensure attendance register on daily basis, keep the leave record of staff and share it with HR Manager on monthly bases.
  • Responsible to initiating service agreements with vendors regarding office requirement.
  • Ensure that documented procedure adopted and maintain in all procurement.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.

As Finance Officer:

  • Maintain records of all financial expenses in soft as well as in hard form.
  • Responsible to maintain ledger books.
  • Make sure verification of all the accounts record before auditory process.
  • Responsible to submit the Monthly financial report to the finance manager for compilation, review and onwards submission to the donor.
  • Maintain and develop Budget Vs Actual cost on monthly basis.
  • Make sure all the records/ accounts/ financial transactions are booked before closing of month.

Selection Criteria & Skills Required:

Must have B.Com degree/BBA from any recognized institution.

At Least have two years of experience of finance officer position with any NNGO/INGO.

Having experience of working in hard terrain and remote management.

Having good knowledge of financial SOPs/new approaches and procedures.

Having good knowledge of financial software like quick book etc.

Have good know how of financial documentation of USAID funded projects.

Familiarity with local culture and norms.

Adaptable, committed and flexible attitude.

Good Team Player and contribute to organizational goals.

3. Training Cum M&E Officer:

  • To ensure regular field Monitoring visit to project schools.
  • Develop and maintain tracker on beneficiaries’ complaints/gray areas.
  • Arrange de-briefing session with staff on project indicators.
  • Develop human interest stories relating to project activities.
  • Ensure accountability and transparency to beneficiaries in all project related actions.
  • Ensure that project beneficiaries have access to information and installing proper Complaint Response mechanism.
  • Conduct analysis of base line survey and other data as required for project documentation.
  • Conduct TNA with Teachers and Identify 1-teachers p/school for ALP Classes.
  • Ensure 100% attendance of ALP Teachers in capacity building session organized in collaboration of DCTE.
  • Ensure follow of training implementation and provide on job support to teachers in classroom management, pedagogy, lesson planning, healing classroom and other concepts.
  • Conduct capacity building training of PTC.
  • Evaluate teachers and student performance on quarterly basis.
  • Support teachers in activity base learning, co-curricular activities and life skill training of students.
  • To actively involve communities in all project related activities.

  • Facilitate PTC and respective female Education Officer in conducting co-curricular activities in project target schools.

  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.
  • Facilitate & assist consultant in conducting quarterly hygiene session with children and parents in project target schools.
  • Take snap shot of field activities & ensure proper record keeping of program activities.
  • Submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly report to Project Manager.
  • Developing monthly work plan based on priority challenges/issues.
  • Ensuring project indicator data base is updated and maintained on regular basis. 

Selection Criteria & Skills Required:

  • Must have master degree in Education/ Social Sciences from any recognized institution.
  • Must have least two years of experience in Education related projects..
  • Least having 2 years of work experience as Trainer/ Master Trainer in any education related grant.
  • Must have demonstrated experience of capacity building of Parent-Teacher council and Teachers.
  • Must have knowledge of Accelerate Learning Program and its modalities.
  • Must have good knowledge of working methodologies of Education Department.
  • Least have two year of experience of monitoring in education grant with any NNGO/INGO .

4. Education Officer Female:

  • To ensure Community mobilization through conducting /Broad Base community meeting regarding girls education in catchment area of Project schools.
  • Conduct baseline survey & Identification of OSC (out of school children) in the catchment area of selected school.
  • To actively involve communities in all project related activities.
  • Arrange & conduct two enrolment celebration event at project locations through PTC/ Potential Volunteers.
  • Identify potential volunteers in project location for campaigning girl’s education.
  • Holding meeting of different stakeholders on quarterly basis regarding an importance of girl’s education.
  • Support Female Education Officer in community mobilization through conducting broad base community meeting with female members of community.
  • Conduct special meeting with parents of out of school/ drop out or parents unwilling to send their children to school.
  • Develop liaison & Coordination with stakeholder for sharing implementation challenges.
  • Ensure community mobilization for 100% enrolment in ALP classes in selected schools.
  • Facilitate PTC and respective female Education Officer in conducting co-curricular activities in project target schools.  
  • Facilitate & assist consultant in conducting bi-monthly hygiene session with children and parents in project target schools.
  • Take snap shot of field activities & ensure proper record keeping of program activities.
  • Submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly report to Project Manager.
