Minimum Education:

Master in Information Technology, MIS, GIS or equal with IT Background

Relevant Experience:

  2 to 5 years of experience mainly in supporting information management & technology interventions through GIS mapping, MIS and office automation, data analysis, systems implementation, technology trainings & coordination and technical report writing.   Preference will be given to the candidates having hands on experience in Geographic Information Systems and serving with public health programs.  Software knowledge of ArcGIS and QGIS with experience in open source GIS and web applications development using PHP/MySQL etc. would be an advantage.

Job Description:

  1. Provide overall support to Technical Officer MIS in routine project administration, logistics and information management for the microplan mapping project activities.
  2. Support in maps handing & taking over from SOP, supply to districts ensuring safe keeping measures.
  3. Support in quality check and quality control of maps before distribution to end users.
  4. Develop software tool/s for automation of tracking and monitoring the use of new maps in the field.
  5. Support in imparting refresher map reading and use trainings and training monitoring at district level when needed.
  6. Filing and proper record keeping of all project activities.
  7. Drafting activity reports and routine maintenance of all correspondence.
  8. Feedback management received from the field and report integration of new information.  Consolidate map supply and map change requests from Field Officer.
  9. Prepare movement plans of Survey teams . 
  10. Assist is performing gap analysis during project implementation.
  11. Assist in organizing meetings and events by making administrative and logistic preparations.
  12. Support in documentation of the planning for upcoming phases of activities and the reporting of current activities.
