Position Title: IT Manager
Job Location: SDF Head Office - Islamabad
Position Report to: Director Operations
Salary Range: Scale 9, Benefits (Provident Fund, Life & Health Insurance, OPD)
Job Profile:
The job purpose is to manage the overall IT systems and network administration. She/he is responsible for maintenance of IT system as well as communication system available at SDF Islamabad office. The IT Manager would improve computer performance; handle data management and system security. The incumbent of the position would be responsible for ensuring effective and timely communication and assist users in troubleshooting IT Equipment including computers, tablets, printers, server, routers, scanners, and other network and telecommunication equipment.
Required Skills:
- Have a hands-on experience and knowledge of the use of desktop/laptop hardware and software, and peripherals
- Strong knowledge or Windows Operating systems.
- Command over server management of email servers, web hosting local and wide area networks
- Have appropriate knowledge of Local Area and Wide Networks, wireless network, peer-to-peer or client server architecture, as appropriate.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills.
- Understanding of Android based communication devices, mobile phone & tablets
- Web site development, management and maintenance
- Development of web based applications
- Should be able to handle the Quick books & Sage Accpac software
- implementation and maintenance of Biometric attendance system
Professional Development:
The I.T Manager will be leading the team of IT professionals at head office and district offices, He/She will be equipped / trained in various IT related areas on need basis. SDF strongly believes in staff’s professional development and capacity building. The IT manager may also get an opportunity to participate in various local and international trainings /conferences. He/She will be responsible to enhance his/her professional and personal growth as well as the IT Team. S/He will ensure that all IT staff receives the appropriate training on new technology to enhance their capacity and command over new technology.

Education and Experience:
- Master Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in same capacity preferably with I/NGOs
- Good knowledge of desktop applications & hardware.
- Knowledge of CISCO Equipment, Manageable Switches, Firewall and Antivirus.
