Job Descriptions:
- Develop and formulate, in coordination with field Monitoring staff, the quarterly and annual M& E Plans for assigned region and projects.
- Assist in developing overall framework for M&E and organizing annual project reviews, participatory impact assessments, process monitoring and lesson-learned Workshops.
- Formulate M&E system, to best serve the projects, donors' and organizational needs.
- Review and consolidate Quarterly M&E Plans of the programme and submit to the manager inputs and approval.
- Undertake regular visits to the field to support implementation of M&E and to identify where adaptations might be needed.
- Identify and gather a database of information required to be used for carrying out the situation analysis/baselines and identification of project requirements.
- Review the monitoring and evaluation activities performed by the M&E officers at the field level and provide guidance for improvement.
- Facilitate sector specific Programme Officers M&E in implementation of their plans and ensure district M&E plans are aligned with sector specific plan(s)/framework(s).
- Establish success indicators and guide the M&E team in using tools for process, output and result oriented monitoring of programme interventions.
- Carry out periodic exercises to assess the impact/outcome and sustainability of the interventions on the basis of baseline information collected at the start of the project(s).
- Develop and/or refine potential success stories, case studies for learning including impact on vulnerable groups i.e. children, women, disables and minorities.
- Facilitate in developing reports and formats to highlight the outcomes of M&E and Research activities of the programme and submit to the Manager PMER for review/approval.
- Provide reports on statistical and social analysis as and when required for enabling PMER Section to facilitate Resource mobilization.
- Participate in consultative session on developing ERP Project Management and M&E module, ensure its proper implementation and provide feedback on its functioning.
- Facilitate in M&E capacity building initiatives at HO as well as District level.
Experience and Education:
- 5 Years of related experience, with minimum 2 years at mid-level Managerial position.
- Masters in Social Sciences
