Project Description:

This project will support Pakistani-led efforts to introduce and institutionalize improvements in reading instruction and reading assessment in grades one through five in public and private schools throughout Pakistan.

Job Description:

  • Maintain proper filling of vouchers and backup documents.
  • Maintain proper inventory record of Teaching Learning Material.
  • Support/oversee logistics arrangements for project activities.
  • Monitoring vehicle’s running on daily basis by updating the fuel record and log books.
  • Assign duties to driver & Office assistant
  • Provide administratively and logistic support required in implementing program activities in the district.
  • Assisting to HR, Finance, IT, Security, and Logistics managers for the respective functions of the regional office.
  • Coordinate with staff for monthly time sheets and submit same to HR.
  • Responsible to conduct the program related events in the district.
  • Monitoring and managing cash usage requirement of the district office.
  • Maintaining Cost Sharing Files of districts as assigned by Finance Manager.
  • Scanning the documents maintained them in appropriate folders.
  • Maintain & update inventory at district level and report of Provincial office on monthly basis.
  • Focal person for preparation of EMRs related to all program activity of the district office.
  • Responsible to procure office items keeping in view USAID matrix
  • Handling petty cash of the district office and making sure for the timely adjustment of advance.
  • Monitoring and managing cash usage requirement of the district office.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated reliability regarding attendance and work performance;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse clientele and staff;
  • Courteous and professional demeanor with experience providing customer service;
  • Experience in organizing and filing information;
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow up on tasks to completion;
  • Medium level knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Clear speaking voice and proficient English language skills;
  • Flexibility and ability to work in busy environment;

Relevant Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in Administration and financial management with development sector.
  • Experience of providing Administrative support to program activities will be considered a plus.

Education:

  • University degree in Business administration/Finance.
  • Advanced Diploma in Finance/Accounting or Partially CA, ICMA or ACCA qualified will be preferred.

Language and Computer Skills:

  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills in English and Urdu. Knowledge of local language preferred
  • Fluency in English and Urdu is required.
  • Good hands on Ms Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
