Medical Field Officer

REQUIREMENTS:

• MBBS degree
• 4 years work experience in field of expertise as a practitioner
• Experience working in the medico-legal sector or public health an asset
• Previous experience with international organizations an asset
• Good knowledge of local health services, staff and system
• Fluent in written and spoken English and in local language(s)
• Team leadership skills
• Very good communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Good analytical skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In cooperation with the Forensic Coordinator, formulates strategies and ensures implementation of the Management of the Dead file in Pakistan
• Assumes main responsibilities as national focal point for Forensic Services for the Management of the Dead Program
• Develops and maintains relationships with relevant national interlocutors / authorities
• Develops and delivers dissemination sessions and training on various aspects of managing the dead in emergency situations to external stakeholders
• Develops working groups with external stakeholders to address challenges in managing the dead in emergency situations
