Relevant Experience:

2-3 years of relevant experience in development sector, preferably with an I/NGO


 

Job Description:

Improving the quality of project through maintaining efficient and effective assessment system to improve accountability, improving internal information flows, and providing field-based data. Acts as information focal point ensuring information flow between the project stakeholders. Various DIL, Non DIL, Donor funded projects managed by DIL.

 

Baseline/End line Assessments:

  • Conducts comprehensive TNAs for new courses or new projects based upon baseline assessments, classroom observations, FGDs with stakeholders to collect information on trainee needs
  • Provides support in developing and field testing tools for gathering relevant data
  • Analyzes the collected data for various donor projects and provides management with project trends highlighting the challenges.
  • Carries out pre and post observations of comparative analysis of teaching effectiveness.
  • Triangulates data collected from multiple sources and prepare summary analysis of needs and results

Documentation and reporting:

  • Assists in developing LFAs for new projects
  •  Reporting of assessments, program data and best practices for internal and external sharing
  • Manages LFA and reporting progress against project indicators
  • Organize Coordination meetings between field staff and Training department to monitor progress against indicators as per LFA
  • Assists program, training and IT Program in developing strong monitoring mechanism that contributes to project performance indicators as per the LFA
  • Develops and maintains effective information database on projects Maintains all the requisite project documents as MOVs for external and internal monitoring and evaluations
  • Supervise collation of data and support Master Trainers in analyzing and evaluating information gained from Centralized exam results 
  •  Collect qualitative data on outcomes and impact in the form of success stories, testimonials, etc. to help capture the effectiveness of the training on direct (and sometimes indirect) beneficiaries
  •  Follow up on donor reports and consolidate inputs from multiple team on prescribed donor formats and timelines
  •  Record minutes of the meetings with donors/ donor representatives and follow up on action points of the meetings
  • Support Master Trainers in utilizing information on their database to write a research papers. Specifically English Proficiency Course, Cluster School visits for year 2016.

  • Performs other monitoring tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the  Supervisor

  • Report writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills for qualitative and quantitative data
  • Excellent computer skills especially software for statistical analysis like MS Excel, SPSS etc.
 

Education: (Formal degree)

Masters in Social Sciences
