WORK HOURS: 40 hrs per week                                                SALARY / STIPEND: PKR. 10,000/- pm

This nonprofit humanitarian organization is seeking an eligible and qualified individual for the position of Internee in Finance Section.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

Finance Intern will be part of a team of a Finance Manager & two Assistant Finance Officers.

Working together to achieve monthly targets and goals set to accomplish the reporting compliances with Donors and of Organization core funds.

Finance Intern will be assisting in

Multi-tasks and operations with banking matters.

Will assist in the disbursement of projects expenditures and compliance with donor instructions.

A complete filing of various vouchers’ files in the finance department.

Assist in Budget and forecast monitoring.

Assist in Monthly and quarterly reporting

Assist in paying the vendors’ Bills accurately and on-time.

Assist in data entry of transactions on QuickBooks ESA 2016 accounting software.

Assist in undertaking bank reconciliations, processing staff expenses, paying money into the bank, dealing with petty cash etc.

Assisting with preparation for and during the annual audit

Working with finance Team to enhance and improve our financial management systems.   

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. EDUCATION:  Fresh Graduate in Business & Finance.

2. EXPERIENCE:  Fresh Graduates  

3. LANGUAGE:   Fluency in English, Urdu, and Pashto.

4. KNOWLEDGE:   Financial / Accounting softwares.

5. ABILITIES & SKILLS:

Excellent numeracy and financial awareness

Excellent written and oral communication skills,

Good IT skills, including familiarity with Office applications and online resources

Good organizational skills, creative thinking - Flexible, self-motivated and hard-working individual who will work well in a dynamic and creative team in a fast-moving environment.

ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA:

1. Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest, budget and residency status in determining successful candidacy.
