UNDP in partnership with Directorate of Projects (DOP) FATA is supporting Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Unit (RRU) technically and financially under the UNDP FATA Transition and Recovery Program. 

CVs/Applications are invited from suitable candidates having domicile of FATA/ Khyber Pukhtunkhwa for the following short term positions on fixed pay, initially for the period of six months extendable subject to the performance and availability of funds. Female candidates are encouraged to apply. The position will be based in Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Unit (RRU) FATA.

Qualification/Experience:

  • Master in Social Sciences, MBA, MPA, Development studies with in depth understanding of Planning, public administration, economics, public policy.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in government projects especially in FATA, understanding of public sector development process, planning and management.
  • Experience of working with development organizations and development partners dealing with Reconstruction and rehabilitation is essential.
  • Experience in Results Based Monitoring of development projects and programs.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills, communication skills, knowledge and understanding of project management cycle.

Job Description:

  • Lead progress monitoring, development of periodic performance reports, and specialized technical reports.
  • Facilitate and Coordinate with DPs and federal Govt: 
  • approving work plans, delivery of stipulated outputs in line with agreed milestones, and performance management and reporting
  • Reviewing, understanding, implementing, monitoring, revising and updating operations to ensure compliance with regulations, SOPs, and contract requirements.
  • Managing a multi-skilled technical workforce through effective scheduling, performance management and leadership.
  •  Developing, designing, implementing, monitoring and revising and screening of process efficiencies while maintaining or enhancing service quality and Contract compliance.
  • Timely, accurate, effective reporting between and among stakeholders in accordance with the Contract requirements.
  • Designing, monitoring, reviewing, updating plans to ensure compliance, risk mitigation and continuity in operations in accordance with the Contract.
  • Developing, managing and ensuring effective employee relations through clear direction, responsive supervision, inspirational leadership, consistent fairness and frequent, relevant communications.
  •  Managing, monitoring and updating a comprehensive quality control program that incorporates quality assurance.
