WVP is looking to training and development consultants to conduct orientation and outreach sessions across the major cities of Pakistan.
Background:
Rozgar.work is a Microsoft’s YouthSpark initiative which intends to create a complete ecosystem to support and enhance employability and entrepreneurial skills to foster Youth Workforce Development in Pakistan. Rozgar.Work aims to create partnerships with public and private sector organizations, NGOs, Donor Organizations, working along the lines of Youth Development. Rozgar.Work aims to join hands with organizations to help in reaching the locals for improved awareness among youth, registrations, skill enhancements of the youth, familiarity with Massive Open Online Courses: MOOCs and improving career prospects for them.
Purpose:
The consultancy would ensure the training and outreach sessions are done to reach out to maximum number of youth in the region, particularly to reap long term benefits of Rozgar.Work. Upon successful completion of the activities, due acknowledgement would be given on the social media pages, as a partner.
General Objectives of assignment:
- Development of sessions/training plan
- Create Awareness around Rozgar.Work
- Regular and timely coordination with universities and colleges for planning outreach events across Pakistan.
- Register attendees on the spot in the events.
- Conduct Training and awareness Sessions for Rozgar.Work along with WVP and partners.
- Compile post training data

Assessment:
A bimonthly assessment would be conducted to gauge the performance of the organization. The consultancy would require 5 or more sessions in each city. The organization can commit to any number of sessions across Pakistan with the commitment of reaching the tangible outputs. Event progress indicators including but not limited to attendance sheet, feedback form from students, one page report of event, local press release, coverage of events, photographs would be shared after all the sessions after endorsement from WVP representatives. At least one representative from World Vision Pakistan, or a Rozgar ambassador would be present at the respective events.

Excellent command (both written and spoken) of English and Urdu

Other details:
The consultant will be paid after as per WV policy for any out-of-pocket project related expenses.
Request for Proposal (RFP)
Subject : Hiring of Firms consultancy for Rozgar.Work Awareness and Outreach Sessions.
Manner of Submission:
Proper Proposals to be submitted through Courier Services at Islamabad Office. Plot # 33, Al Rehman Mall, 3rd Floor, G/11 Markaz, Islamabad.
The Validity of proposal should be minimum 30 DAYS.
Proposal submitted by hand/fax/email will not be entertained.
Closing deadline: 2nd August 2016.
Note: Proposals must be send through courier services by two envelop system (technical & financial separately).
Information to bidders:
- Currency of offer should preferably be in Pakistani Rupee.
- Once a consultant(s) have been determine to meet all necessary requirements, Organization will issue a formal contract.
- Payment will be made to the consultant/firm/institution by cross-check or Bank transfer as per prescribed terms and conditions of formal contract.
- Organization will not be responsible for any bank service charges.
- Organization does not undertake to pay by letter of credit or in advance of delivery.
- Organization reserves the right to accept the whole or part of your offer.
- (If applicable) Goods /Services supplied for Organization are exempt from VAT and all other customs excise duties.
- Incomplete offers or offers which do not comply with any or our tender conditions will not be considered.
Guarantee against anti-personnel mines: Organization has decided to support an international ban on anti-personnel mines. Anti-personnel mines have killed and maimed and continue to kill and maim many refugees. A high proportion of these innocent victims are women and children. These mines pose a serious obstacle to the return of millions of refugees and displaced people around the world. Organization shall therefore not knowingly buy products from companies that sell or manufacture anti-personnel mines or their components. If you submit a bid based on this request, it shall constitute a guarantee that neither your company nor any affiliate or a subsidiary controlled by your company sell or manufactures anti-personnel mines or their components. A contract clause confirming this may be included in an eventual purchase order based on this request.
Environmental policy: Our policy is to purchase products and services, which have the least negative impact on the environment. Environmental considerations covering manufacture, transport, packing, use and disposal of goods form part of Organization evaluation and selection criteria.
Terrorists: Organization will not do any business with any known terrorist group or company involved in anyway with terrorists. Organization shall therefore not knowingly purchase goods or services from companies that are involved with terrorist groups in any form. If you submit a bid based on this request, it shall constitute a guarantee that neither your company nor any affiliate or a subsidiary controlled by your company are not involved with any known terrorist group. A contract clause confirming this may be included in an eventual purchase order based on this request.
