Administrative Assistant

DAI Pakistan Private Limited is registered under the Companies Ordinance 1984.  DAI Pakistan is a service provider to DAI Washington and DAI Europe on various donor-funded projects throughout Pakistan.  DAI as a global company has been active in Pakistan since 1983 and is committed to delivering results across the spectrum of development contexts, from stable societies and high-growth economies to challenging environments racked by political or military conflict and natural disasters. 

Function of the Position:

The Administrative Assistant works in the DAI Pakistan office providing support to the administration, financial management, logistics, and coordination of DAI Pakistan and its services it provides.  The position will be based in Islamabad.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage soft and hard copy records of GoP filings for taxes, audit, HR, Service Level Agreement, and registration.
  • Manage records of bank accounts.
  • Safeguard and keep record of DAI P property and assets.
  • Book and manage all accommodation logistics for all international visitors.
  • Assist in the coordination of logistics for Board Meetings.
  • Assist in the maintenance of staff insurance policies for DAI P and the projects, as needed.
  • Manage national corporate relationships with service providers, hotel, car rental, air travel, Internet, and telecommunications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Master’s Degree and two years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Book keeping and basic accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Demonstrated MS Office skills.
  • Demonstrated good communication (written and spoken in English) and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, creative and discretion with confidential information.
