Grants Assistant

Minimum Education: ICMA, CA (Inter), ACCA, MBA (Finance)
Required Experience:  1-3 years of experience in accounts & finance. Experience in the development sector/grants management shall be given preference

Job description:

  • Maintain an accurate database for information an all financial transactions and disbursements records of the grants.
  • Monitor grantee compliance with financial, grants management and reporting obligations and facilitating timely disbursements.
  • Update and maintain grants management records as appropriate.
  • Liaise closely with grantees to ensure understanding of and compliance with the grants management manual and procedures and help in timely submission of Financial and Technical reports.
  • Calculate and report overall monthly variance analysis report.
  • Undertake scheduled and spot check field visits to grantees as and when required.
  • Review the financial documents and assist Grants Coordinator in monthly grantee report.
  • Respond to any queries directly raised by the Head of Grants and Team Leader.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor
