Relevant Experience: B.Sc Civil Engineering with 2-3 years relevant experience with INGO/NGO.
Job Description:
- Measurement and preparation of BOQs,
- To provide technical drawings, designs, BOQs and field site monitoring on construction and other Cash for work activities.
- To supervise the activities of Sub Engineer on regular bases.
- To conduct periodic inspections to verity that work areas, method, materials and quality.
- Responsible for the repair/ renovation of all targeted schemes.
- To approve daily activities,
- Conduct meeting with project stockholders, keep close coordination with community, sub engineer, contractors and suppliers.
- Responsible for overall supervision of all rehabilitation schemes in different localities of targeted area.
- Ensure that all the activities are according to the agreed budget and BOQ.
- Responsible for the submission of weekly as well as monthly tentative and progress reports to the Program Manager.
- Ensure quantity and quality control mechanism.
- Responsible to keep in loop the project coordinator about the technical fault and assist him in bringing back the project activity on the standing paths.
- Provide full support to Donor staff while visit to the targeted area.
- Responsible to provide pictures of the schemes before and after the completion of repairs and renovation.
- Any other task assigned by supervisor.
