CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful candidate for this role will have a critical eye for detail, be patient and methodical. They will be enthusiastic and passionate about the IT industry. They must be highly motivated, work well in a team and on their own, and be able to deliver good results under tight deadlines and under pressure:
· Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent in Computer related subjects
· Experience in developing eLearning/ Web based modules
· Strong programming/scripting skills and experience (e.g., Flash, Object Oriented Programming, CSS, and JavaScript, JQuery).
· A critical eye for detail and ability to clone an English language module completely to Urdu
· understanding of various software application development techniques and have strong analytical skills
· Familiar with .Net technologies
· Experience of developing websites in Urdu
· Knowledge/experience with a variety of L(C)MS servers
· Mobile application development
Key Accountabilities
· Working with the project team converts the English language eLearning modules to Urdu.
· Manage a web based exam/test application
· Experienced in development of, components, libraries, and multimedia development processes.
· Drive efficiencies into development programs via component and template development, implementing scalable and repeatable processes.
· Hands on experience of working with Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
· Hands on experience of website development technologies/frameworks, Web 2.0 tools.
· Develop appropriate documentation for architectural, design, process, and training/performance activities.
· Ensure appropriate control procedures for safeguarding CABI’s knowledge assets;
