Project Description:

CNFA is currently seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Director for the United States – Pakistan Partnership for Agricultural Market Development (AMD) program in Pakistan. This program will aim to create productive commercial linkages between agricultural producers and the private sector in the mango, citrus, halal meat, and high-value off-season vegetable value chains.

 

Position Summary:

This position will be based in Lahore and is open to Pakistani nationals only. CNFA is seeking applications from qualified Monitoring and Evaluation Director candidates. The M&E Director will ensure the completion of all M&E activities across project components and will supervise coordination of USAID personnel, CNFA personnel, local NGOs, and other governmental and non-governmental organizations in regards to M&E activity. Specific duties include:

  • Design M&E systems including indicators, data collection systems, impact assessments and Performance Management Plan (PMP) targeting, tracking and reporting according to USAID and CNFA standards;
  • Oversee data collection and analysis to assess the impact of project activities on household nutrition, incomes and food security;
  • Lead the evaluation of the cost and benefits of project interventions;
  • Present analysis findings to project staff to ensure their on-going learning;
  • Train project staff on their responsibilities for monitoring and evaluation;
  • Oversee all daily work related to monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities of the project;
  • Produce, edit, and distribute regular project reports and updates to project management, regional management, and HQ.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pakistani national;
  • Prefer for candidate to be from Lahore area;
  • A Bachelor’s degree in statistics or relevant field is required, Masters’ degree preferred;
  • At least 5-7 years of experience working in M&E is required, preferably in food security and/or nutrition programs;
  • Experience working with USAID and international donors required;
  • Previous project work experience in South Asia required, previous experience in Pakistan highly desirable;
  • Fluency in English required;
  • Fluency in Urdu preferred.
