Purpose: Our organisation is looking for an Intern for support the programme department in the web development and maintenance.
Reporting: Web Designer Intern will work under the guidance of Director Programme and Sr. Research Manager.
Location: Internship is based in Islamabad with occasional travel to other offices
Responsibilities:
The Web Designer is responsible for maintaining Organisation website.
- Maintain Organisation website in collaboration with programmes and projects staff
- uploading and updating information on website
- Attend and participate in the meetings.
- Keep up to date with the latest software and technology
- Take part in training and self-development activities as agreed with supervisor.
- Adhere to Organisation policies/procedures including finance, human resources, security, procurement and logistics
- Perform other duties as assigned
Working Conditions & Travel:
The position is based in Islamabad. Occasional to Peshawar is expected.
Education/Qualification:
Masters degree in computer science or relevant discipline from HEC recognized university
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Having good knowledge in coral draw, adobe, in-page and other software (Urdu typing desirable)
- Proficiency in computer applications and programming languages (desirable)
- Having organizational commitment, personal integrity and accountability, ability to work with diverse groups of people and respect for others
- Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure
Allowance: Rs. 8000 per month plus lunch and tea.
Duration: Initially 3 months.
