Job Description:
- Support Project Manager in the formation of coalitions/ partnership with like-minded stakeholders and influencing the Govt.
- Organize and facilitate campaign in revising policies based on inclusion approach for DRR at the district
- Facilitate and organize the Training events on CBDP, advocacy and governance, PC-1, DRR checklist, etc with different stakeholders, relevant line departments.
- Actively engage with coalitions, Govt. and other stakeholders at different level
- Liaison and coordinate with district administration and line departments in developing of coordination mechanism between Civil society and inter and intra departmental level at the district.
- To develop weekly and monthly reports following the work plan developed.
- Keep close coordination with all line department stakeholders and local peoples, CSOs, for smooth accomplishment of the project goals
- Organize and conduct lobbying meeting with different stakeholders for DRR specific budget allocation and development of DRM Plan at district and provincial level.
- Facilitate the Action plan process with DRR forum and NHN district Chapter at the district
- Facilitate the stakeholder and participants identification for the trainings
- Facilitate the Manger in development of advocacy strategy for the voluntarily forums and different stakeholders
- Developed linkages of DRR and NHN district forum linkages with different line departments and Provincial level forums
- Developed and implement DRR focused Advocacy tactics for the development of DRR/M plan and DRR Budget at district and Provincial level with different key stakeholders
- To Developed strong linkages with different organizations and relevant line department ensuring DRR related proactive accountability and Responsibilities at district level
- Developing of Gender sensitive DRM plan at district
- Ensure the Policy and Budget keeping in view the Inclusion of all the stakeholders with gender sensitive approach at the district and provincial.
