A Real Estate Developer, based in Islamabad has the openings for the Civil Engineer as part of project management team for its high-rise mixed-use construction and development.

General Purpose:

Managing the Mobilization, Execution, Completion, and Handover of the Project as Leader of the execution Team.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Site Management

  • Coordination with consultants regarding Structure and finishing works.
  • Communication and coordination with other sections to avoid any delay in work progress;
  • Supervision and coordination of various subcontractors work;
  • Preparation of weekly looks ahead schedules from master program and site requirements.
  • Tracking and reporting of daily site progress.
  • Calculation of requirement, arrangement, fabrication, issuance and maintenance of Formwork.
  • Calculation of requirement, arrangement and control of cutting, bending and fixing of Rebar.
  • Control of Concrete Materials & Concrete Production at batch plant and Concrete Supply at site.
  • Supervision, on-site management of Civil Works execution including Site Preparation, Earthworks, Paving, Formwork, Rebar, Concreting, Masonry works, Steel Structure erection, Architectural Finishes, Completion of Punch Lists etc., progress monitoring of the site and Final Handover & Takeover of the structures.
  • Management, Arrangement and Supervision of manpower, materials, equipment, tools & plants and all other resources at site.
  • Strict control over the front line Supervisors to ensure timely completion of targets, highlighting all bottlenecks and anticipated problems to the management.
  • Monitoring of rework endeavoring to avoid rework and submission of complete data of actual man-hours, equipment, materials etc. utilized in performing rework to Planning Department.
  • Ensuring requisite technical back up and administrative help to the execution team.
  • Ensuring proper implementation of QA/QC, HSE and Construction Site Procedures within the area.
  • Quantity Surveying, Rate Analysis and Preparation of Bar Bending Schedules.

Qualification/Experience

Minimum Graduation Degree with at least 5 years of experience as team leads for Civil works.

Project Co-ordination

  • Management of Materials as per the site requirement.
  • Management of Sub-contracting as per the Company Procedures.
  • Arrangement for the supply of materials to site, Updating Site progress and status of materials & other resources as at site.
  • Documentation and Record keeping of documents etc

Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications

  • Consultation skills; understanding of design and coordination with consultants.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations & industry standards etc.
  • All Selection & Design Software related to works.
  • MS office & all basic official use software’s
  • 3D & 2D Modeling and Design capabilities in CAD tools.
