DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY

 

 

  1. Acts as resource person for the Director academics on the functional matters related to the curriculum i.e. technical, vocational and competency based curricula.
  1. Supervise and coordinate the development and revision of curriculum and manuals of all TVET courses in coordination with the curriculum experts, industry experts and NAVTTC.
  2. Facilitate NAVTTC in the curriculum development, standards and the assessment methodology/procedures.
  3. Attends committees on admissions, text books, manuals, practical’s, uniform academic calendar, and prospectus for continuously measuring the output for the efficient TVET system in KP.
  4. Coordinate with the R&D for the establishment of new curricula, up-gradation of existing curricula and verification of courses developed for the TEVTA institutions.
  1. To be responsible for the Constitution of Curriculum Development Committee (CDC), Curriculum Revision Committee (CRC) and Curriculum Evaluation Committee (CEC).
  2. To be responsible of Constitution of Manual Development Committees (MDC), Manual Revision Committee (MRC) and Manual Evaluation Committee (MEC).
  3. Conducting Meetings of Curriculum Development Committee (CDC), Curriculum Revision Committee (CRC), Curriculum Evaluation Committee (CEC), Manual Development Committees (MDC), Manual Revision Committees (MRC) and Manual Evaluation Committee (MEC).
  4. Coordination with members of the committees i.e. CDC/CRC/CEC/MDC/MRC/MEC, local and foreign agencies for the effective accomplishment of the curricula development/revision.
  5. To hold correspondence and coordination with University of Engineering and Technology and Higher Education Commission for curricula of B-Tech/B.Sc. Tech.
  6. Distribution of Curricula to all the quarters concerned i.e. Board of Technical Education, Trade Testing Board etc.
  7. Constitution of Provincial Academic Committee based on the consultation with Director Academics for final approval of curricula.
  1. Coordinate with Operations on technical oversight and quality assurance of a range of competency-based technical & vocational training’s curricula and training methodologies aligned to existing national qualification framework and to current labor market conditions and also for the uniformity of academic standards in the institutes.
  2. Acts on any other direction given by the Director Academics.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

 

 Age

 

 

Up to 45 Years

Education

Minimum Bachelor of Engineering/ B-Tech or any other relevant degree from reputed HEC recognized University.

Experience

8 years’ of experience including at least 5 years of job specific experience. Preference shall be given to those who possess diversified exposure in national, international, public and private organizations.

Skills

Proven leadership skills. Working skills of ICT, Interpersonal skills, Forecasting skills in terms of visualizing market demand. Having sound knowledge of academic policies, standards and regulations.
